Jose Arballo

BOARD MEMBER

A native of Southern California, Jose Arballo moved to San Jose about two years ago with his wife, Dr. Tammy McCoy-Arballo, along with their cats, Bernstein and Katharine Graham. Jose has been a longtime supporter of youth programs and served as the on-site director for a summer high school journalism workshop for more than two decades. He attended San Diego State University and Azusa Pacific University to study journalism, a career that he followed for 20-plus years as a newspaper reporter and editor, before making the transition to public information officer. He believes math is the cornerstone of a well-round education and the Jose Valdes Math Foundation provides an important stepping stone.
