Donna Lewis

Dr. Donna Lewis is a retired educator with more than 30 years of experience in public education, including service as a Superintendent of Schools and in numerous district leadership roles. Her expertise spans curriculum and instruction, special education, student services, human resources, finance, facilities, governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lewis has served students from preschool through college in diverse educational settings, leading innovative programs in STEM/STEAM, dual-language immersion, International Baccalaureate, Project-Based Learning, and Montessori education. She is widely recognized for building collaborative partnerships between schools, businesses, and community organizations to improve student outcomes.

An experienced nonprofit leader, Dr. Lewis currently serves on the Santa Clara County Committee on School District Organization and as Vice President of the MetroED Foundation, among other community leadership roles. Her contributions to education have earned numerous honors, including a California State Senate Resolution recognizing her distinguished career.

Dr. Lewis holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Pepperdine University, a master's degree in Special Education, and a bachelor's degree in Creative Arts from San José State University.
