An emphasis of the Valdés Institute is to prepare students for success in Algebra I. At WVC, however, our focus shifts as we place our top class (Math Analysis) of high school students there to give them an opportunity to be at a campus many of them may not have considered after their high school career. These students also have the opportunity to meet with their peers on Fridays at another college campus.
